[Wine] Fund Manager (portfolio management software) seems to work
This is the first time I've used either Wine or the "Fund Manager" program from Beiley Software http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/index.html . I found installation a bit confusing, but the program does work, and retrieves data from various sources somewhat as it's supposed to. Some of the help files don't show up as they should, but since they're also available directly on the Internet I can keep a linux browser open for them. The publisher claims Wine compatibility but I couldn't find any mention of it here at winehq. I am using Wine 1.0.1 under Mepis 8.0. (Yeah, I know that's an old wine, but it's what Synaptic installed for me.) I guess this should be added to the application database, and maybe after I've worked with it a bit I will register over there and figure out how to do so.

[Wine] Re: Fund Manager (portfolio management software) seems to work
I think you found installation a bit confusing so you need to read some installation guide on the package to make it easier to install that portfolio management software... _________________ Inventory Control (http://blog.ricssoftware.com/blog/inventory-control)
