zfs discuss - Aug 2007 - samba and acls

I''ve got Samba configured in an active directory domain, but
I''m having
issues getting acls to work properly. Adding users or groups via a Windows
client results in the error:
''Unable to save permission changes on myshare. Access is
denied.''

I''m running snv_68. Does ZFS have Samba compatible acls? If so, any
tips on
getting them working?

What samba are you running?  Try (I think) /etc/sfw/bin/smbd -V to test
version.  I know there was a bug with ZFS/Samba interaction around v 3.24 -
I believe 3.25a and upward fixed that.
