Hi, I''ve recently configured a PPPoE connection through my ADSL, and would like to now track my usage. I use Shorewall on my Linux router, which handles many subnets and also handles the ppp0 interface generated by the ADSL dialer on Linux. I''m not sure exactly where to look for this type of Information, since currently my provider provides me usage on my link (I''m allowed 8 gig a month) but really cannot verify these figures unless I set up some sort of accounting my end. How would I perform all of this? so I can get daily, weekly, monthly, yearly type usage data/graphs. Lastly, I have seen the figures generated on the iptables output: iptables -L -v and have been able to flush them etc, but I''m after something that can analyse this all automatically for me. Thanks.
