Yes, there are some (minor) syntax and option changes, between 1.4.x and
2.0.x. For upgrading see the instructions on the website:

Be sure to read all changes introduced since your current version. Tom
even outlined the details, to change old configuration files before
upgrading and sent it to the list the other day.

If you use the default configuration provided by Mandrake 9, I recommend
starting from scratch using the QuickStart Guides, as the Mandrake
default is strange and confusing...
