[Icecast] icecast2 will not start from the /etc/init.d
I can start it fine from the command line using icecast -c icecast.xml we have ver 2.4. When I try and start it using /etc/init.d/icecast2 start it says [ ok ] Starting icecast2 (via systemctl): icecast2.service. but it actually doesn't start. nothing in the error logs, nothing in syslog. Any ideas would be appreciated. Nick

Please check the permissions of the log files. You can also try to set: <errorlog>-</errorlog> This should let Icecast log to stderr. -- Philipp. (Rah of PH2) -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... [Icecast] icecast2 will not start from the /etc/init.d
No errors reported and I could not get the <errorlog>-</errorlog> to do anything either. I should also mention that I am working on Ubuntu.
