I used your software for about two years (I started with version 1.2 on debian 
woody, now I''m a happy gentoo user with version 2.X).
I think the second comment is quit right: If there are people who want to 
improve the software, then live will go on. I also don''t know anything
about
you, but your support and patience with all shorewall users was just 
wonderful. And although I do not read the devel list, I could provide 
webspace for a mirror if wanted (unfortunatly using a 786/128 static DSL 
line).
Don''t be sad about people who try to understand your decision, only you
know
why. But, after all, it''s quite funny how people react in such a
situation.
