Hi, I''m configured a home router with Shorewall. It took me a while as I''m quite a newbie to Linux, but now it''s working fine. I would like to install some bandwith-monitoring so I know how much traffic is generated. I found a tool for it called ipac-ng. It uses iptables and here is where I''m in trouble. I afraid that it will conflict with shorewall. Does anyone here use ipac-ng together with shorewall? Have you encountered problems whith them? Also, what other components can I use to monitor transfered data? I''m already monitoring transfer speed with rrdtool, but I would like to know how much data is transfered, as my ISP is limiting my connection to 30GB/month. My router is a Celeron 466 machine with 128MB ram, running Mandrake Linux official 10.1 Thanks in advance for any help, Moha ---------------------------------------------- 1 Gbyte Ingyenes E-Mail Tárhely a MailPont-tól http://www.mailpont.hu/

You only have to run ''/usr/sbin/fetchipac -S'' after shorewall has been started. Simply put the line in /etc/shorewall/start>Also, what other components can I use to monitor transfered data?
