flac dev - Mar 2007 - Universal Binary Installer for Mac (pre-release)

Hi folks,

I would announce this on [Flac] instead of [Flac-dev], but it hasn't  
been widely tested yet.
With that caveat, if you don't want to download the flac 1.1.4  
sources and build them yourself, check out http://www.sounds.wa.com/ 
software/flac-1.1.4.dmg

The installer includes the Ogg 1.1.3 library as well as flac 1.1.4,  
but you can turn either package installer off in the advanced options  
by clicking on Customize.

Give me a shout if this doesn't work for you.  Please give details on  
platform (hardware and operation system) if there are problems.  It  
has been tested under 10.4.9 on multi-gigahertz G4, G5, and Core Duo  
processors.

This should eventually get moved to another site and get linked on  
the main flac pages after a few folks have checked it out.

Developers are probably the best testers in this case, since if there  
is a problem you can always "make install" over top of the Installer  
files to get things back to your do-it-yourself version.
