The wav files are in pcm format. They were encoded with Speex and then
decoded so that anyone can listen to them without a Speex
decoder/plugin. Also, although you can use Speex in wav files, I
strongly recommend using Ogg instead. There is a good DirectShow filter
for Ogg at http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/
