First, note that stereo support is only encoded as the energy difference
between the two channels (very simple model). If you want four channels,
one solution is write a similar channel-coupling module that puts the
data as extra information in the Speex stream (there are hooks for
that). The other solution is to simply encode the 4 channels
independently.
