[Samba] After configured server signing, file transfer speed is very slow
Hi team, I want to configure server signing as mandatory without reducing speed, but you have mentioned that remove the server signing. Can you please explain why 90% speed is reducing after configured server signing as mandatory? Kindly do the needful, Thanks, Vignesh. Are you using hardware assist for the crypto ? Samba can do so on modern Intel processors with native AES instructions.

[Samba] After configured server signing, file transfer speed is very slow
In my testing signing is slower than encryption (but only when using SMB3.1.1 GCM e.g. to Windows or Andreas's Samba GCM branch). With Andreas's GCM SMB3.1.1 in Samba, I find there to be no need for signing as encryption is faster.
