samba - May 2019 - Debian Samba 4.9.8 and 4.8.12 available now. (amd64/i386)

Hai guys, 

I've released the first batch of new packages. 
The following has been done, others will follow shortly. 

Debian Jessie  samba 4.8 amd64/i386	Updated to samba 4.8.12 
Debian Stretch samba 4.8 amd64/i386	Updated to samba 4.8.12
Debian Stretch samba 4.9 amd64/i386	Updated to samba 4.9.8

---  The quick install for the repo. --- 
1) Choose http or https for you apt, both work, for https you need to :
apt install apt-transport-https

2) Import my public key
wget -O - http://apt.van-belle.nl/louis-van-belle.gpg-key.asc | apt-key add -

3) (optional) setup a header line for the repo file.
echo "# AptVanBelle repo for samba." | sudo tee
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list

4) In the line below, change the OS and/or samba version to what you want. 
Choose only one! 
Jessie  4.8 : echo "deb http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian jessie-samba48 main
contrib non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list
Stretch 4.8 : echo "deb http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian stretch-samba48 main
contrib non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list
Stretch 4.9 : echo "deb http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian stretch-samba49 main
contrib non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list

Upgrading from Jessie to Stretch, have a look here :

Hmm, i that yesterday that this was a typo of my collega.
He reported this also and upgrade message and the not working dpkg --reconfigure
-a
That used to work. :-/ 

Hmm, that might be the case, something changed here, its possible that file is a
bit older already.

Try these commands below, 
The priciple is still, if smb.conf is not correct, upgrade stops, fix smb.conf
then resume upgrade.

sudo dpkg –configure -a
sudo apt --fix-broken install
sudo apt-get update –fix-missing

I'll update the file with this.
