samba - Jul 2016 - Samba 4.4.5 debs for debian Jessie. (amd64 and i386)

Hai everybody..

 

I have created the samba 4.4.5 packages for debian Jessie. 

Last packages 4.4.3 where only amd64 but the new 4.4.5 ones are also i386.

Please do read the readme.txt it contains good info about the build and howto
use them.

 

The folder : https://downloads.van-belle.nl/samba4/samba-4.4.5/ 

Contains both package, if you want single files get them from there.

But its better you can get the tar.gz so you dont miss any.

 

These packages are signed by me and the build logs are provided.

Looks great! Could you help me for compiling theses packages for Raspian
(ARM, Raspberry Pi 3), too?

What scripts you are using for this?

first of all you need all the tar.xz files and dsc files listed in
http://downloads.van-belle.nl/samba4/

when there are i386 and amd64 versions you need only one
I recommend to download the packages in several directorys.

than extract the file with 'dpkg-souce -x cmocka_1.0.1-2~bpo8+1.dsc' for
example
go to the created dir and try to build than with 'dpkg-build'

I recommend pbuilder, so you don't need to install all the deps in your
"hostsystem"
