They appear to be limited to allow/deny login rights: https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/wiki/DesignDocs/ActiveDirectoryGPOIntegration I don't know the status with any other distros, but this is supposed to make it into Fedora 21, due for release in few weeks: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/SssdGpoBasedAccessControl -- Sketch
