HI, Is there an init script to start stop tinc tinc-1.1pre10 for debian. I am running tinc -n name --pidfile /dir/name start from /etc/rc.local sometimes it's not creating the pid file but I see the process running. It would be great if we can manage it from /etc/init.d/ Thanks Anil -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Install Tinc 1.0 from the Debian repos - build a 1.1pre package with checkinstall & install over the top of tinc 1.0 - the Debian init scripts still work. Stuart. For the init script, I just installed tinc from the debian repo, whatever it be. I compiled tinc1.1pre10, put it wherever I wanted, and just modified the script to point to that binary's location. cheers, Lance On 12/4/2014 1:30 PM, Anil Moris wrote:> HI, > > Is there an init script to start stop tinc tinc-1.1pre10 for debian. > > I am running tinc -n name --pidfile /dir/name start from /etc/rc.local > sometimes it's not creating the pid file but I see the process running. > > It would be great if we can manage it from /etc/init.d/ > > Thanks > Anil > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > tinc mailing list > tinc at tinc-vpn.org > http://www.tinc-vpn.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tinc-------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
