Xapian devel - Jan 2017 - Interested in Contributing

Hi,
I am a 3rd year Mathematics and Computing B.Tech student at Indian
Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delh). I'm new to this organization and
I would like to contribute, can anyone help me in getting started?

Note that while we've done an initial update of the project ideas list
for 2017, it's likely a few more will be added in the next couple of weeks.
