One thing to check: does it really mount the DVD at /media/cdrom0? In
SuSE, I have a mount point /media/cdrecorder, but when I put in a CD, it
actually gets the volume label and makes a new mount point like
/media/VACATION_PHOTOS or whatever. So as Joachim said, make sure it's
mounted first, but also make sure it's really mounted where you think it
is.
