[Wine]can not define drives with winecfg 20050725
Hello. I'm trying to make wine 20050725 works. As I understand it, the old .wine/config file is now obsolete, and wine configuration should be done through winecfg. When I launch winecfg, I got this message: Warning: the specified Windows directory L"c:\\windows" is not accessible. Warning: the specified System directory L"c:\\windows\\system" is not accessible. Warning: could not find DOS drive for current working directory '/mnt/hdb3/home/skrzynia', starting in the Windows directory. wich seems normal, because no drive has been (yet) set. The problem is that i can't set drives with winecfg. When I set the drive value and confirm (by clicking OK or pressing enter), winecfg exits with error: err:winecfg:apply_drive_changes unable to define devicename of 'C:', targetpath of 'xxx' where xxx is various values (I made severql tries, with a local directory, a mounted windows partition, etc..) May I get some advices? By. -- A. Skrzyniarz

This needs to be done in /home/[username]/.wine/dosdevices Hiji ____________________________________________________ Start your day with Yahoo! - make it your home page http://www.yahoo.com/r/hs
