Dear All, Do people think that they are ready to create the LLVM 1.6 release branch? I believe all the development is pretty much done. Is all the documentation in the LLVM source tree updated and ready? I'm not able to make a full doc review like I've been able to do in previous releases, so I need volunteers to work on the docs if they're not done yet. -- John T. -- John T. Typically, bug fixes in branches are last minute bugs caught in the last round of testing. -- John T.> > Andrew > > _______________________________________________ > LLVM Developers mailing list > LLVMdev at cs.uiuc.edu http://llvm.cs.uiuc.edu > http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/mailman/listinfo/llvmdev-- John T. After that, I will finish up the LLVM GCC frontend tarballs (they are already built; just need to install bytecode libraries) and create an LLVM source tarball. I should have this finished before noon tomorrow. At that time, I'll need volunteers to help test the tarballs. I need one person to do PPC, one person to do X86, and maybe one person to do Sparc. People maintaining other ports of LLVM will be welcome to try out the release branch and report any problems; I'll send another email with instructions on how to do that after I create the release branch tomorrow. -- John T. -- John T.
