Gluster users - Nov 2017 - GlusterFS - Volume Backup and Restore and Monitor

Hi,

I would like know how to backup GlusterFS volume externally and restore
with all metadata and monitor the backup is happened completely ? I have
glusterFS in 2 replica factor, assume that volumes is also down and
clustered gluster service also down ?
