Rails - May 2014 - form shows input fields with name like: name="company[users_attributes][5][birth_date]"

If a rails generated form shows a form input field with a name like:

 name="company[users_attributes][5][birth_date]"


What kind of model setup does that normally mean assuming it is following
convention?
Or is this not following convention?
