Hi I installed windows 2003 standard, and updated to SP2. All seems ok, network works and I can browse internet and LAN. But after installing xen-tools I''ve no more network card. What happened? And how can I fix it? thanks

Shall I assume you install xen-tools in your Dom0? -- Alexandre Kouznetsov
Sorry, you''re right, too hurry.... I''ve Debian 7 64bit as Dom0, I''ve installed Xen 4.1.4-3+deb7u1 and use XAPI as toolstack. I''ve not installed xen-tools in Dom0 thanks

I''ve not installed xen-tools in Dom0XAPI questions are usually discussed in xen-api@lists.xen.org list. Did you installed http://xen-tools.org/software/xen-tools/ somewhere else than Dom0? Maybe we are talking about different things. Maybe it was xe-tools, known as citrixguestagent in Windows? Does the network works fine on Dom0 and other DomUs? In any case, if your networking was gone after you modified the guest, it must be something fixable at the guest. Does your Ethernet network adapter appears in "Device Manager"? If not, is there any unknown device? Or what do you mean by "no more network card"? -- Alexandre Kouznetsov
ok thanks, I''ll try xen-api@ too... However, I tried to install xs-tools, when mount cdrom I try to launch: - citrixguestagent > it says that windows 2003 is not supported - xenlegacy.exe > it says that I can''t, I''ve to launch installwizard. I tried this workaround too without success: http://www.poppelgaard.com/xenserver-tools- for-xenserver-6-1-workaround-for-vvs-pvs - installwirzard.msi > all seems ok, but when I reboot network card in device manager are hidden, but with no errors/unknown, as when you remove hardware and driver remains thanks
xen-api@ didn''t publish my post, I don''t know why... anyway, I can''t find a solution. Someone uses Windows 2003 with Xen 4.1 without problems? thanks

I installed Xen 4.1, and it doesn''t have xs-tools.iso I have to extract it from XenServer-6.2.0-install-cd.iso ? but 4.1 is old, so I''ve to extract from 6.1 or 6.0 ? thanks
I tried xs-tools 1.1.0. (XCP 1.1), 1.4.90 (XCP 1.5 beta), 6.0.0, 6.1.0, 6.2.0 with no success always after reboot I''ve no network and after another reboot I''ve BSOD 0x0000007E
anyone has problems with Windows 2003 or anyone uses Windows 2003 as guest? :) thanks
Yes, Windows Server 2003 works good. I use the GPLPV drivers.
