samba - Jun 2013 - smbclient -M to windows 7 workstation problem

Apologies if this has been asked before - I have searched on google
without success

I am running Samba 3.6.6 on Debian wheezy server with windows 7 (sp1)
client workstations

When I run smbclient -M MYWIN7CLIENT and send a message to a windows 7
client

The message is picked up ok on the win 7 workstation ( with LanToucher )

But I get the message "cli_message returned NT code 0x00540000 on the
server terminal.

Any ideas on the cause and how to solve ?

Windows dropped the messaging service with Vista - you simply cannot do what you
want with Win7 either
