I have windows vista service pack 2 running on my computer. I just downloaded ..virtual box 3.2.6 ...and ...virtualrails 1.1.7z...I cant find my windows xp bootable disc to create a virtual machine to run virtual rails. you should be able to run this on Windows XP with no problems. you will need to decompress the .7 file to get the .vdi file which is the virtual hard disk. After that follow the directions on the Virtual Rails site, and you should be on your way. Hi Rich, Thanks everyone to have done my support job while I was at the cinema (seen Inception, pretty cool indeed ;p) ^^ Rich, I am the one who wrote the "getting started" part of the virtualrails website It seems that my instructions are not easy enough to follow, so if you can take few minutes to help me improve it, it would be a great help ! if you''re ok, just write me a quick mail with your feeling about what is clear, what is not, and what is missing, it would be really appreciated. thank you in advance In fact, everyone''s feedback is welcome, don''t hesitate : tell me your virtualrails story :) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
