Puppet users - Oct 2012 - Puppet Nagios types

Can Puppet''s Nagios types accept custom variable macros? I want
something that looks like:

define service {
        ## --PUPPET_NAME-- (called ''_naginator_name'' in the
manifest)                rpm-db-corrupt
        use                            log-error-template
        service_description            RPM DB Corruption
        hostgroup_name                 all_hosts
	_alert_code	1234
}
