Hi All, I just wanted to ask, what is your average memory usage for puppetd? I''m currently running 0.23.x clients, and on some machines I get about 90M usage, and in others (same manifest) I get sometimes around 200M. I''ve tried to check if its buffers resident or swap usage, and most of the case its resident (if you have the free memory). Are these figures are similar in your environments as well? if you run puppetd very 30 minutes, you can juest use cron run it ,don''t run puppetd in daemonize mode. like "puppetd --test" On Apr 30, 12:58 pm, "Ohad Levy" <ohadl...@gmail.com> wrote:> Hi All, > > I just wanted to ask, what is your average memory usage for puppetd? > I''m currently running 0.23.x clients, and on some machines I get about 90M > usage, and in others (same manifest) I get sometimes around 200M. > > I''ve tried to check if its buffers resident or swap usage, and most of the > case its resident (if you have the free memory). > > Are these figures are similar in your environments as well? > > Thanks, > Ohad--~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. Hi, We use puppetrun in some cases, I would prefer to keep it running as a daemon (its also used for monitoring check if puppet is alive).
