Puppet users - Mar 2008 - last_freshcheck and last_compile not working...

I have only seen this mentioned in an IRC log, but puppet 0.24.2
doesn''t seem to be updating last_freshcheck and last_compile in the
database. It sill works for all of my older clients (0.23.x), but the
0.24.2 version doesn''t seem to work.

This seems pretty important to me as it''s my only way of knowing
whether a host is actually getting an up-to-date catalog. Perhaps
there is another way?

I apologize if this has already been discussed but I did search the
tickets and mailing list for last_freshcheck and last_compile and came
up with nothing.

Are you saying that, with the same server, some older clients are  
updating it but not newer clients?  That''s a bit odd.

I know this has been discussed, but I don''t know if a ticket was ever  
opened.

You say you''ve looked for tickets, so I guess please open one, since  
you couldn''t find one.

Reporting is probably a better solution.
