-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, It seems that the new xiph.org CVS server has some problems with compression, i.e. if you specify the -z command line option to cvs. It seems to hang indefinitely, after the last files of a checkout or update have been processed. Without any compression, it seems to work fine. Though the previous CVS server never exhibited this behaviour. I couldn't find any maintainer for the CVS server on the CVS info page at xiph.org, so that is why I'm sending this here. :) Cheers, - -- Dimitry Andric <dim@xs4all.nl> PGP Key: http://www.xs4all.nl/~dim/dim.asc Fingerprint: 7AB462D2CE35FC6D42394FCDB05EA30A2E2096A3 Lbh ner abj va ivbyngvba bs gur QZPN -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 6.5.8ckt http://www.ipgpp.com/ Comment: http://duncan.gn.apc.org/stoa_cover.htm iQA/AwUBPV1hvbBeowouIJajEQIDfQCfdS+LLn2suZZgCezz+mPq1MWeU34AoLhi bF3wZZv8UMTsI4A/jxvUMR9y =xMKJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. I tried to get the server version on the server side by running “cvs server”, but it only hangs. If the server recently have been upgraded to 1.11.2 lately this may be it. A downgrade to 1.11.p1 should fix the problem. Greetings, Øyvind +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ | OpenPGP: 0x629022EB 2002-02-24 Øyvind A.
