I have sent some patches to some Makefile.am's as well as to some configure.in's, particularly for building without gcc and gmake. Can someone review those patches, and/or commit them? (we are working at the CVS head these days, no?) I cannot build in Solaris without gcc/gmake, for example -- running "autogen.sh" in the ao project with the native Solaris compilers causes barfage on the first file that it tries to compile (audio_out.c) because the gcc-specific options "-Wp,-MD,.deps/audio_out.pp" are automatically insertted on the compile line. {+} Jeff Squyres {+} squyres@cse.nd.edu {+} Perpetual Obsessive Notre Dame Student Craving Utter Madness {+} "I came to ND for 4 years and ended up staying for a decade" --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Unfortunately, I have had little time to investigate a real fix; rather, I just compile that file by hand. So, I encourage you to find a solution! I'd be happy to commit them, but I'd like approval first. -- David Terrell | But remember that "layman" is just a polite dbt@meat.net | word for "idiot." http://wwn.nebcorp.com/ | - Neal Stephenson --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body.
