[vorbis] Slightly fast playback of files on SuSE 7.3 install...
Regardless of whether I run xmms or ogg123, I get my ogg files playing back at a slightly accelerated rate. Not fast enough to raise the voice pitch significantly, but enough to be quite noticable. Anyone else had this problem? --Robert

--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. [vorbis] Slightly fast playback of files on SuSE 7.3 install...
Oh, duh. Forgot. This is not a stock SuSE 7.3. It's got the 1.0.1 ogg/vorbis libraries and tools. I also put libao 0.8.3 on it with the same results. 2.4.10 kernel. [vorbis] Slightly fast playback of files on SuSE 7.3 install...
Nobody has bitten on this one yet. Is it because of the typo? ;-) As a futher note, it's not the encoding of the files as they play fine on another box. The only difference between the two boxes is the version of SuSE that is installed (7.3 bad, 8.0 good) on them. Anyone have a place for me to start looking?
