theora - Jun 2009 - cutting (audio) stream stored in ogg (vorbis encoded)

Hi,

I am saving vorbis encoded stream in a ogg file. Which tool I can use to cut
the file without any decoding / encoding? Just to delete unvanted begin and
end.

I am using UNIXes or Windows.

vcut is now quite stable and enabled by default.

As soon as I manage to find time to put the new version of the toolset
out, there'll be windows binaries as well.

While I have recently praised the Theora C++ tools, one cannot compare
a tool completely geared out for Vorbis cutting and a generic tool.
The former will always be better.

Speaking of generic tools, oggzchop is also pretty good for cutting files.

Supposedly, cinelerra can deal with Ogg Theora/Vorbis. Not sure if it
does so without decoding and re-encoding. Might be worth a try if you
want a visual editor.
