Lustre discuss - Sep 2006 - Lustre data access + use more than one network

Hi,

I''m trying to resolve the following issues:

1) I need global as well as local access (for speed reasons) to a file. I
have setup lustre so that I have storage nodes that are also clients. Is it
possible to setup Lustre so that it knows that if part of a file exists on
the local disk it does not need to transfer it over the network?

2) Is it possible to aggregate data transfer over several networks to
improve network throughput?
