[Lustre-discuss] Changing quota on active file systems.
Hi.
In the manual section 7.1.2 it says:
"So set the block soft limit and the inode soft limit as 0. It is strongly
recommended to run setquota on a non-busy Lustre file system. Otherwise a
wrong block hard limit value may get set."
In my experience it will indeed be neccessary to change the quota on active
filesystems as some users have special needs that change over time, how
should one do this in a safe way without stopping all processing on our
cluster?
Regards,
r.
