R devel - Nov 2000 - nls() function is not found (PR#725)

I haven't been able to use the nls() function because of the following
error:

Error in eval.with.vis(expr, envir, enclos) : 
        couldn't find function "nls"


Apparently nls() is no where to be found, in the /library directory nls exists
with all its files..

need help..

But did you load it by library(nls)?

If you want to post a bug report, please read the section on bugs in
the FAQ first.  There's nothing here that is reproducible.

Sorry if this is restating the obvious but: did you load the library by
doing library(nls)?  Do you have nls in the right place -- does library()
list nls?
