wxruby users - Aug 2003 - Ready for a release?

Greetings to everyone on our new list!

As I mentioned before, I will be traveling from 8/27 through 9/8. I will
be almost completely disconnected from the internet, so don''t be
offended if you don''t hear from me during that time.

Before I go, I would like to release wxRuby 0.1. I know we still have
several problems, but we can always fix those in 0.2. Therefore, I
propose releasing exactly what is currently in the rubyforge cvs
repository, with perhaps one exception: I would like the readme to
reflect as accurately as possible the state of all platforms: OS X,
MinGW, MSW, and Linux.

I would appreciate if one person could "own" each platform, and write
up
a simple readme section for that platform. I can incorporate those into
the official readme.

If at all possible, I would like to complete that by this Saturday so we
can do the release on Sunday. In fact, I think I would like to release
on Sunday whether or not the readme is complete.

Let us know if you agree or disagree, if you have any suggestions, or if
you want to own one of the platforms.

OK. I can write readme.mingw32 tomorrow since I''m leaving on Saturday
and
won''t be back until 1st of September. Is it OK or someone else wants to
take it for MinGW?
