Mapstraction - Aug 2012 - Next release

There was some talk in May about getting the next release out. Just 
wondering if there is any news on this?

I have a Websockets Vehicle Tracking map, which I had commissioned, and 
I want to release it as Open Source.  The developer suggests we wait 
until the next Mapstraction release before cleaning up the code.
