Summary: Checkboxes not showing in GraphicsContext example

Initial Comment:
In the GraphicsContext example in samples/drawing, there is meant to be two
checkboxes visible to control showing rectangles and showing corners.

These appear correctly on MSW, but are not visible on OS X
