[Wine] <The Debian Administrator's Handbook>'s View on Wine
The Debian Administrator's Handbook is a decent documentation about Debian. http://debian-handbook.info/ Some Chinese people already started a translation project. http://www.gitcafe.com/emfox/debian-handbook-zh I noted that it also mentions wine in one section http://debian-handbook.info/browse/stable/sect.windows-emulation.html I find it particularly misleading since it encourage users to use existing installations rather than install by wine itself ! I filed a bug in Debian. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=674980

It's not even possible to change the target of the C: drive in winecfg. The ability to do that has been intentionally disabled in winecfg because Wine will overwrite Windows system files with its own fake dlls if C: points to a real Windows partition.
