You did something wrong, probably with the cvsupfile. I thought you
only got this particular error when accidentally trying to build a 5.x
or 6.0 kernel on 4.x, but maybe it also occurs with other version
mismatches (6.0 on 5.4), since you say you're already running 5.4.
Check your cvsup file and compare to the examples and documentation,
and post it if you need more help.
