[asterisk-users] sip pregi net account registration
Hi guys, I am trying to configure sip.pregi.net account with my Asterisk 1.4.X, since its a free account, its not getting registered, even my machine IP is allowed in firewall. In the same machine if i register openser account which is in public i am able to register. while checking the sip debug the register request is keep on sending but there is no response. what i did is i registered the same account in my softphone installed in my laptop, there it got registered. only with Asterisk its not registering, I tried allowing externip as my routers IP, even then its not getting registered. Does anyone used sip.pregi.net account with Asterisk? If so let me know the settings. Thank you. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [asterisk-users] sip pregi net account registration
My Setup is as follows, I am using Asterisk 1.4.36 with Asterisk GUI installed separately. And the machine is behind pfsense, and the IP of Asterisk machine is allowed in the pfsense. Even I tried to change the registration port number of sip.pregi.net to 6090 because eyebeam uses dynamic port. This is my setup. [asterisk-users] sip pregi net account registration
Hi Warren, I was tracking through wireshark and I found the difference between the eyebeam registration and Asterisk registration. I found the contact SIP URI varies for these two. With Eyebeam registration the contact is - "Contact-URI: sip:1234 at 192.168.0.57:6506" whereas with Asterisk the contact is - "Contact-URI:s at 192.168.0.57" here it is routing to "s", thats the reason its not registering, I dont know why its contacting "s". Any suggestions would be appreciated.
