[Samba] password change from win95 client doesn't work
Hi All, I've got a Samba client that runs Windows 95 (way old, i know). Logging onto the domain rocks! However, changing the domain password using the control panel results in an error (translated from dutch): "Access to the network has been denied" What is wrong? --my smb.conf-- # Samba config file created using SWAT # from 172.16.1.92 (172.16.1.92) # Date: 2003/11/27 12:54:22 # Global parameters [global] workgroup = HAARLEM105 server string = Haarlem 105 Server allow trusted domains = No pam password change = Yes obey pam restrictions = Yes passwd chat debug = Yes unix password sync = Yes client NTLMv2 auth = Yes log level = auth:5 log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m max log size = 50 announce version = 4.9 time server = Yes socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192 logon script = logon.bat logon path = \\%N\%U\.profile domain logons = Yes domain master = Yes dns proxy = No ldap ssl = no winbind use default domain = Yes force group = users create mask = 0775 directory mask = 0775 client lanman auth = Yes client plaintext auth = Yes [homes] comment = Home Directories read only = No hide unreadable = Yes hide files = mail/Trash/Sent/Drafts browseable = No [printers] comment = All Printers path = /var/spool/samba guest ok = Yes printable = Yes printing = nt use client driver = Yes browseable = No [audio] comment = Audiobestanden path = /audio read only = No [data] comment = Alle data is hier te vinden path = /data admin users = @admin force group read only = No hide unreadable = Yes [netlogon] comment = Inloggen path = /data/netlogon browseable = No
