I am using Solaris 9 and below are the steps I used to install Samba. ./configure \ --with-libiconv=/usr/local/libiconv \ --with-ldap \ --with-pam \ --with-pam_smbpass \ --with-ldapsam \ --with-winbind \ --with-included-popt make cd ../packaging/Solaris/ sh makepkg.sh pkgadd -d /tmp/samba.pkg Thanks for any help received.
