samba - Jul 2003 - Accessing ACL infomation on Linux from Windows through C Language Code.

Hello,
      I would like you know if it is possible through
SAMBA to access file permission rights set for a file
on Linux from Windows. 
Put it in another way can I write a program in C
Language running on Windows OS to get ACL information
of Linux machine. 
Does Samba provide me with some API's do the get
information of file access permission set on Linux from
windows client.
