-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello and sorry for this newbie post (i not even read any post yet). I'm sorry if this is a post that needs an RTFM answer =). I'm working in a project to make a Windows Explorer Namespace Extension that will allow users to manipulate files (either local or remote) in a special way, and it needs to be pretty transparent to users and applications. In that spirit, we think that something that emulates an SMB server running in localhost is a solution that can cope with our requirements. For that we want to use parts of the Samba code, but we need some direction as to wich samba modules we need to search to replace the needed functionality. We don't even know if is possible to run a localhost SMB server (nor if explorer will understand that), but we think that could be possible. Any help will be very appreciatted. Many thanks! I behaved very oddly there. -- The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 7.0.3 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBPKdPML6KEogX0AkqEQIizQCguhPH4JcuUL1ygynM1YKAqY9IHCoAoOL7 p6CymdzO4Zg/cfXI8SKCULyw =raZ8 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
