OK, I've had a TON of requests on how to get and use the SGI-XFS disk for RH7.2, so here it is! http://oss.sgi.com should get you started on SGI's linux projects including the XFS install disk. If anyone has any questions, give me a shout. If anyone from SGI is watching...I do have a current resume!! In order to get samba to work with it from an rpm, I downloaded the source rpm, made the appropriate changes to the SPEC file, and built the new rpm. Let me know if you need any more help. -----Original Message----- From: amoote@ivhs.com [mailto:amoote@ivhs.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 26, 2002 7:16 AM To: samba@samba.org Subject: [Samba] SGI XFS RedHat 7.2 Boot CD Has anyone used the SGI XFS boot disc for RedHat 7.2? We are looking at it as an easy alternative for installing ACL supported Samba. I was wondering, does it have native ACL support if you install Samba (2.2.1a) from the initial install? Any pointers would be appreciated. Regards, Alan B.
