Here is my problem :

smblcient -L machine

session setup failed: ERRSERV ERRbadpw (Bad password : name/password in a
Tree Connect or Session Setup  are invalid.)

First, Usually that means that your username or password is wrong.
Try #smbclient -L machine -U yourusername
When asking for password, write the correct password.
Or just leave it blank or enter it, see the result is.

Second, make sure that you made the user account in smbpasswd.
