Users accounts coming in from Windows NT or 95 can read files but get a message "Permission Denied" when they attempt to create a file or directory in a shared directory. The same user can Telnet into the Server using the same ID and can create files in the shared directory. I am using domain security with encrypted passwords, and am running Samba 2.07. The PDC is running on a Windows NT server. Does anyone have an idea as to why the Windows users cannot create files?
