samba - Jan 2001 - dce (dfs) compile probs

When compiling samba after passing --with-dfs to configure I get an error
about set_effective_uid.  in pass_check.c, the call is in an if statement,
but in proto.h, it's define as void.  Can anyone help me get dce support
to work?
