Your safest route is to compile/install and them copy your configuration
files. That way you don't miss anything...

Is there a way to migrate an installation of Samba on Server A
to Server B where Samba is not installed?
Both are the same hardware/OS (Sun Solaris 5.8). It was
compiled/installed on Server A.
Do I have to compile/install it on Server B or can it be migrated?
