Help on seting SAMBA on a Intergraph server running CLIX
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello: I'm trying to share a partition on a Intergraph 6480 running CLIX. The OS is CLIX version 3.1 (ISS) r.7.6.20. The server is at a University Lab and all the clients are either Windows NT or Windows 95. I tried NFS, but Windows doesn't support it natively and is much slower/unreliable than SAMBA. Does SAMBA support this hardware/software combination? If so can anyone point me to the right direction on setting it up? I do have experience with setting SAMBA, just need hints on this specific combination, if any (probably any trick to compile it if needed). Thank you very much in advance. - -- Lazarus Long <lazarus.long@bigfoot.com> PGP: <http://wwwkeys.pgp.net:11371/pks/lookup?op=index&search=0x5C1DC205> ICQ#: 30062012 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 6.5.1i for non-commercial use <http://www.pgpi.com/> iQA/AwUBOEciHQl0Rr1cHcIFEQKwsgCg0vvju6YeT77Ay07G4/wBo0dw2PIAoJjN XWtHR+b+G4MJsOcwajP0+CKS =mzAs -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
